BOSP CHARITY SHOPPING DAY TO BICESTER VILLAGE
This charity event took place on Saturday 28th October. A coach full of wonderful BOSP supporters travelled to Bicester Village in Oxford and raised an amazing £656.00 for the Charity. A full day of shopping plus raffle prizes and a glass of fizz on the way home ensured everyone enjoyed this fabulous fundraising event. We cannot wait until next year
BOSP Sparking Lunch
The BOSP Sparkling Lunch fundraiser was held at Harry's Bar in Billericay on Saturday 23rd September, where an amazing £1,313 was raised! Thank you to everyone who attended and donated gifts to the raffle including the fabulous Spa Cottage. A well attended event, with wonderful food, in a great venue with good company!
JP8 Charitable Trust Football Tournament and Family Fun Day
BOSP was honoured to have been chosen as one of the beneficiaries from the JP8 Charitable Trust's 7 a-side Charity Football Tournament and Family Fun Day on 15th July 2023. The event went extremely well and was enjoyed by all the teams and families who took part. BOSP would like to thank JP8 Charitable Trust for their very generous donation of £1,000, which will help BOSP to continue to provide the vital support its families need.
BOSP Summer Charity Ball
Everyone had a wonderful time at the BOSP Summer Charity Ball on 22nd July at Warley Park Golf Club. Thank you to everyone who attended the event or donated gifts, an amazing £4,000 was raised for the Charity.
Leonardo Fundraising BBQ for BOSP
BOSP would like to give a huge thank to everyone at Leonardo in Basildon for holding a BBQ in aid of BOSP and raising a wonderful £393 and making a further corporate donation of £200!!
Billericay Summerfest
It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces at the Billericay Summerfest. BOSP ran its fabulous fundraising tombola and raised a wonderful £400 for the Charity. A big thank you to everyone who visited our stall and gave their support. A big thank you also to The Rotary Club of Billericay Mayflower for organising this wonderful local event.
Asda Green Token Giving
A huge thank you to everyone who voted for BOSP in the Asda Green Token vote at Asda Eastgate. Thanks to the Asda Foundation we have been awarded £500!
Bicester
Thank you to everyone who joined us on the coach for the shopping day to Bicester at the end of October. We had a great day, especially judging by the number of shopping bags on the way home! November London Half Marathon
In November, Johnno took on the London Half Marathon in aid of BOSP. It was a very tough course around the Olympic Park, but Johnno completed the course in a fantastic time and raised a brilliant £373 for BOSP. What a great achievement, thank you! And thank you to everyone who supported the event.
Billericay Christmas Market
Thank you to everyone who donated tombola prizes, volunteered their time and visited our renowned tombola stall at the Billericay Christmas Market at the beginning of December. We made a record breaking £964!
March London & Brentwood Half Marathons
Nathan, one of our Support Worker’s at BOSP took on the challenge of the London Half Marathon on the 5th March in aid of BOSP, raising a fabulous £555! BOSP Supporter Vanessa took on the Brentwood Half Marathon on the 12th March, completing the course in a very impressive 2 hours 23 mins! What amazing achievements from our runners and thank you to everyone who supported them.
Rotary Virtual Quiz in aid of BOSP
Our wonderful friends at The Brentwood Rotary kindly hosted a virtual quiz in February, with all the proceeds going to BOSP. Thank you to all the teams that took part, the evening was great fun and raised a wonderful £750!
