We are so very grateful to all our supporters who have either made monetary donations or made our recent fundraising events possible through helping with gifts for our raffles and tombola stalls, volunteering at an event, of running their own.

Lions Club of Billericay

Thank you so much to the Lions Club of Billericay for their kind donation towards the equipment for our garden at our Skills 4 Life project.  This will provide such a valuable and fun activity for our young people.

Rotary Club of Billericay Town

Huge thanks to the Rotary Club of Billericay Town for purchasing an Interactive White Board for use at our new Skills 4 Life Programme, we really appreciate it.

BOSP Staff Fundraising Quiz

Knowing what a difficult time this is for BOSP during COVID-19, Charles one of our Support Workers ran an on-line staff quiz in May to boost morale in the team and help raise vital funds for the Charity. He raised an amazing £1,617.50 and everyone had great fun. Thank you Charles and thank you to BOSP's wonderful caring kind staff for your generosity, we and our families are so fortunate to have you work for us.

Employee Charity Nominations!

An employee of Gibsy Harrison Solicitors and Lloyds Bank both nominated BOSP as part of the companies Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme and we received a wonderful £500 from each - thank you for remembering BOSP!

BOSP Trustee Joe Lane - 2.6 Challenge

BOSP Trustee was fighting for his life in Basildon hospital having contracted COVID-19. He came out after 10 days and was already thinking of others.  Struggling to walk following his illness, he was determined to complete the 2.6 challenge on Sunday 26th April. He completed the task and manged to raise over £3,000 to be shared between BOSP and Marie Curie.  Huge thanks to Joe and to everyone who kindly sponsored his tremendous efforts.

From jogging, cycling, walking, baking and naming favourite things in 2.6 minutes, BOSP children and families came together to support BOSP in the 2.6 challenge.Thank you all during this difficult time.

Charity Classic Vehicle Club UK

Many thanks to the organisers and entrants of this year's event. Unfortunately the day had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 but people kindly donated their entrance fee to BOSP and the Essex Air ambulance anyway. So kind - we received a cheque for £1000!

SoRCon Gaming Society

A wonderful £600 cheque arrived at BOSP from SoRCon - we are so pleased to be supported by this great group - thank you all!

Basildon Round Table & Lloyds Bank Foundation 

Thank you to the Basildon Round Table and Lloyds Bank Foundation for responding to our COVID-19 appeal.  We received 3 reconditioned laptops from Lloyds to help BOSP work from home and Basildon Round Table kindly sponsored us to help get them set up for us, so we can provide outreach services -superb!

Thank you so much to the Billericay Argos & Sainsbury's Local and the Brentwood branch of Argos, who collected new toys from their lovely customers under the Brighten a Million Christmases Toy Appeal.  BOSP's children were absolutely thrilled to receive them. 

The Wallace Singers Christmas Concert 

Huge thanks to The Wallace Singers who performed the wonderful concert "Merry Christmas Everybody" on the 15th December and raised a fantastic £650.

Buttsbury Infant School

Thank you so much to the Staff, Children and proud Parents of Buttsbury Infant School for donating £928.30, which was raised at their lovely Christmas performances.

Pride of Essex Awards

It was a huge honour for BOSP to win the 'Teams of Pride' category at the Pride of Essex Awards. It was a very unexpected and emotional moment. Huge thanks to all of our staff, volunteers and fundraisers, who make what we do possible enabling us to help so many Essex families.

Huge thanks to the lovely Grace Lampard for organising a wonderful evening of song, dance and laughter in memory of Lily who loved attending BOSP.

19th October 2019 Bicester Shopping Trip

Thanks to everyone who came on the BOSP Shopping Trip to Bicester. It was a very successful day judging by the amount of shopping bags! We had lots of fun while raising some funds along the way. Looking forward to next years!

Global Make Some Noise Day 11th October at Basildon Eastgate Centre

28th September 2019 - Sparkling Lunch Harry’s Bar

Thank you to everyone who came to another very successful Sparkling Lunch, we had great fun while enjoying a lovely two course meal and a glass of fizz.  We raised an amazing £707.60.  Looking forward to next year's which will be held on the 26th September 2020.

Billericay Fun Walk - 8th September

Thank you to our wonderful Sponsored Walkers at the Billericay Fun Walk on Sunday. Also big thanks to our lovely volunteers who helped on our Tombola and to all our supporters who visited the stall, it was a really lovely event.  We raised over £1000 - our best yet at this event!

Brentwood Strawberry Fair

Thank you to our volunteers who helped run our Tombola Stall and to all our supporters at the Brentwood Strawberry Fair on Saturday 15th June.  It was a really lovely event, lots of fun and we raised a fab £364, well done!

Lord of London, Jeweller Billericay 

Billericay and Shenfield Jeweller Russell Lord kindly donated £900 to BOSP which was raised when he showcased his hand built miniature 1976 Mk2 Ford Escort, built from silver, gold and diamonds in 2019 at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC in Birmingham.  Russell's labour of love has been 25 years in the making and has attracted lots of interest from car enthusiasts. 

BOSP are so pleased to be one of Russell's four chosen charities.

Kilimanjaro climb! 

Congratulations to Taleisha from Willmott Dixon Interiors for making it to the summit of Kilimanjaro in just 5 days, along with BOSP's Travelling Star and raising a wonderful £475 for BOSP.

1st September 2018 - Billericay Round Table's Big Day Out!

Thanks to the generosity and support of the Billericay Round Table, over 100 BOSP children and parents were treated to a day at Chessington World of Adventures.  We had two coaches full of excited families!
